About Me
My name is Kristin. I was widowed in 2010 before my 68th birthday, after 45 years of a happy marriage. My husband Bill died two years after his diagnosis with cancer, and he did his best to prepare me for life alone. I live in a ranch-style rambler built in the 1950s with almost three acres of land. I am contending with an aging house and a lot of property to maintain. I am a poet, a traveler, and a gardener. I am blessed with friends and family. I am writing this blog to share my journey on the path of widowhood and to offer encouragement to others.
